Oven Baked Fries from Debra Ponzek

Oven Baked Fries with Parmesan and Rosemary

These are just right with any burgers or try them alongside grilled steak or chicken. Perfection! A nice change from traditional French fries or baked potatoes and so easy to make. Little effort, big wallop!

Serves 4

2 russet potatoes

1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 tablespoon chopped fresh rosemary

1 garlic clove, minced

1 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup olive oil

Freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Lightly spray a baking sheet with vegetable oil spray.

Split the potatoes in half lengthwise and then cut each half into six evenly sized wedges. Toss the wedges with the cheese, rosemary, garlic, and salt. Drizzle with the olive oil, season with pepper, and toss to mix.

Spread the potatoes evenly on the baking sheet and bake for about 35 minutes, or until tender and golden brown, turning once during baking.
